Lavish Italian ivory colored small writing desk and chair made in the Florentine or Venetian style with gilt decoration and foliate motif. Fronted by five drawers with metal pulls and supported by long square tapering legs. Beautiful patina with chips and worn gesso commensurate with age and use. c1920
